Fleetwood Carnival needs YOU!!
It’s said every year, and this year is no exception. If you want to see Fleetwood Carnival continue, more committee members are needed.
Are you prepared to help and make it happen? Please contact Ann Hanvey – email@example.com
NEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS NEEDED
Fleetwood Carnival is in need of more new Committee Members.
We have a really good new dedicated Retinue Team in place, but we also need new members to help with organising lots of the aspects of staging Fleetwood Carnival.
We need help to assist Nicola, our Fun Day Secretary, to oversee the Fun Day in the Marine Gardens. We also need help in dealing with Road Closures, booking bands, getting all Schools and Youth Organisations interested in entering Floats and the Fancy Dress sections.
As well as the new Retinue Team, we also have other long standing members who work hard staging the Carnival each year, but we need more help to ease the load a little so to speak.
If we do not get more help future Carnivals may well be cancelled, so come on Fleetwood Folk help us out. We keep saying this, but new members also bring new ideas which we need, and more hands make less hard work for all concerned.
If you want Fleetwood’s Annual Traditional Carnival to carry on, please come forward and help. Come along and find out more in January – we only meet once a month, perhaps a little more nearer to the time.
Ann Hanvey, Chair of Fleetwood Carnival Committee says “I am confident that Fleetwood community will pull together as always and help out.” Don’t let her down folks!
Please contact Ann Hanvey – firstname.lastname@example.org tel 01253 850080
Everyone loves a community event, but they can only happen if members of the community are able to help to organise them. Fleetwood Carnival, and other great summer days out like it, are completely organised by volunteers – there are no paid staff to help.
